Happy Nurses Week

in celebration of nurses week... Elmhurst had all the nurses wear all white yesterday and to wear a nurse's cap. at first i was planning on going against the grain, since i don't have a white top and i don't have a nurse's cap. the other day, another co-worker of mine came up to me and had me "donate" $5 for a nurse's cap so that i could have something for yesterday. how can i say no to her when she asked me right the exact moment when our supervisor was next to us?? so... i ended up shelling out $5. the following morning, i just wore my colored top and last on the last minute, decided to pass by the store that sells nursing uniform. i decided to buy a fairly nice white top... as soon as i got to work, i was thankful for that last minute decision. everyone (but one) was dressed in white on our floor and most of them were wearing the cap. as soon as i entered the lounge, one of the nurses there was so excited about the whole thing that it was so contagious. ended up wearing a cap.

this is me, during my break in the nurses lounge... unfortunately, i no longer own a digicam (it broke...). i am now just waiting for a co-worker of mine to send me the pictures that she took.


all in all... the experience was nice. :)
