Memorial Day in Coney Island

we did it again! horacio and i spent another Memorial Day in Coney Island. this time with family and friends. the plan was to meet up in coney island at around one in the afternoon. the family, me and horacio drove down to coney island. as soon as we parked, marichu and rich were already there waiting for us. horacio and i left the family (they decided to eat first) to go meet up with marichu and rich and find us a spot in beach. the sun was shining, cool breeze blowing.. we set up our blankies and put some sunblock on. we caught up with each other.. soaked under the sun and played some dominoes. around 3 pm, wench, horacio and i decided to test the water.. it was ice cold!! so we stayed away.. well, except for wench who was brave enough to go under the water! as soon as we got back to our spot, marleni started to call. this was around 3:30 - she was two hours late.. but was forgiven, since she took lynette with her. marichu left at around 4 to go to another function, then the family left. the four of us and lynette were left on the beach.. we were throwing sand to lynette and at one point, while emmanuel was feeding lynette with some cherries, lynetter just decided to throw sand into his face! around seven, we headed out for some nathan's hotdog. after that, horacio and marleni went and braved the cyclone. horacio went twice!! then off we went to kiddie park for lynette.. horacio won some stuff toys... which lynette ignored. by 9:30pm... we decided to call it a night...but before we did, we bought funnel cakes!! :)

it was nice day altogether... sun, beach, hotdogs, laughter, and funnel cakes!! :)
